synopsis
Daddy’s Little Girl is not simply an emotional letter from Fashxon to her father; it’s a heartfelt declaration from daughters worldwide to their fathers, expressing that they are loved, understood, and valued.
Set in a series of doll houses in various states of decay, we watch as different dolls from around the world stand waiting, arms reaching out, for their fathers to return to them — symbolizing the unwavering hope and resilience of daughters everywhere, that remain steadfast in their love and appreciation for their fathers.

Objective
For a record with such an emotional tone and personal messaging, our objective was to convey Fashxon’s sentiments for her father in a way that resonates with other daughters, globally, serving as a poignant tribute to the enduring bond between fathers and daughters.
The video’s goal is to act as both a mirror and an olive branch, framing the paternal figure not through a lens of judgment, but through a lens of enduring hope — conveying that the door for reconciliation is never truly closed as long as the child’s spirit persists.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The primary target audience for this music video is, simply put, daughters. More specifically, those in the young adult and adult age range who share a complex, deeply affectionate, or historically strained relationship with their fathers.
The narrative device of dolls waiting in decaying dollhouses symbolizes feelings of abandonment, longing, and emotional stagnation that can persist into adulthood. As such, women who have experienced the absence of a father, single-parent households, or emotional distance within paternal relationships will find profound personal resonance in the video’s message.
Beyond daughters, the secondary target audience includes fathers, particularly those who may have experienced mental illness and emotional disconnection or separation from their children.

HOW WE MADE IT HAPPEN
We took a more realistic 3D character design approach with “Daddy’s Little Girl”; bringing an air of realism and humanity to the video as we limited light usage to the dolls themselves, driving focus to their arrays of expressions — from joy to optimism — in this emotionally-gripping music video.
“Daddy’s Little Girl” is now available on Apple Music and Spotify.
